Mohahlaula Airlines is built for organisations and individuals who need a flight shaped around a specific requirement, and who value control over route, timing and aircraft enough to pay a premium for it. Many people mistake us for a travel agent or a scheduled airline and expect the price of a single ticket. That is not what we do.

Forged through the pandemic, flying since 2020
Mohahlaula Airlines received its ICAO Air Operator Certificate from the Lesotho Department of Civil Aviation on 24 February 2020, at the start of a global pandemic. We adapted from a scheduled domestic service into a charter and contract operator, and we have kept flying.

Before you enquire
Is Mohahlaula Airlines a commercial airline or a travel agency?
Neither. We are a charter and contract air operator. We plan private flights for a single client or organisation at a time, rather than selling seats on scheduled services or acting as a travel agent.
Do you sell single tickets?
No. Our flights are chartered as a whole aircraft for passengers or cargo. The only seat-by-seat fares we offer are empty legs, which are discounted repositioning flights sold off the back of our charter and contract work.
How much does a charter cost?
Every flight is quoted to the specific route, aircraft and requirement. Most charter and contract engagements begin in the region of LSL 25,000 and scale with distance, aircraft type and cargo. Tell us your trip and we will prepare a tailored quote.
Where is Mohahlaula Airlines based?
We are based at Moshoeshoe I International Airport, Hangar 2B, Mazenod, Lesotho, and operate across Southern African airspace.
What can you carry?
Passengers and cargo. To date we have flown more than 260 charter passengers and carried over 10 tonnes of cargo, using eight aircraft types, with more available on request.
